The latest Universities Webometrics Ranking released in August, 2013 has placed Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) as first in Nigeria, 8th in Africa and 1113 in the world. In second and third place in Nigeria are Auchi Polytechnic and University of Ibadan, occupying the 23rd and 24th Positions in Africa.
